Amerisource March Madness

The NCAA college basketball tournament is fast approaching, and we invite you to participate in the Amerisource 2016 March Madness Basketball Challenge!  It’s three weeks of hoops, slam dunks, fast breaks and nothing-but-net! As always, there is no entry fee, but great prizes for the top finishers.

ELIGIBILITY

• Entry is FREE, but by invitation only.  If you know someone who did not receive an invitation but would like to participate, have them contact Jaylene Cyr at  (713) 863-8300 ext. 239 or jcyr@amerisource.us.com.
• Only one entry per player.
• Amerisource employees are not eligible for prizes.

REGISTRATION

Once you sign up, an email will be sent to you with your username and password.

Once you have registered, sit back and relax until Selection Sunday.  On March 14th you will receive an invitation to make your team selections.

Brackets will be open until March 17th @ 11:59 AM EST

HOW TO WIN

• Pick the winner of each game in each round, all the way through the championship game, by choosing a winning team for each game.
• Points are awarded for each correctly-chosen game winner. The points awarded are progressive for each round, as follows:
  • 1st Round: 1 point for each correct pick
  • 2nd Round: 2 points for each correct pick
  • 3rd Round: 3 points for each correct pick
  • 4th Round: 4 points for each correct pick
  • 5th Round: 5 points for each correct pick
  • Championship Game: 6 points for the correct pick
• The winner will be the player with the most points at the end of the tournament.  In case of a tie, the winner will be decided by the player closest in their prediction of the number of total points in the Championship game.  In case two or more entries are identical and the above tiebreaker system does not produce a single winner, the player whose entry was submitted first will be the winner.
• Standings of all players will be updated continuously and posted on the Leaderboard at our website. You will receive a link to the leaderboard when you make your team selections.
